"If anyone saves a life, it would be as if he saved the life of many."
According to official data, Pakistan has 127,859 doctors and 12,804 health facilities in the country to cater for over 200 million people.
Pakistan spends a mere 0.9pc of its GDP on health. Only two countries, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Bangladesh, have a lower ratio of GDP to health spending.
An unhealthy population with severely diminished capabilities cannot substantially contribute to the economy. Health indicators suggest that it is the lack of accessible healthcare that is the greatest adversity facing Pakistan.
With this project, we are attempting at providing some relief to the common man, woman and child.
